Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Business Office Associate to support our financial and administrative operations. This is a part-time hybrid position ideal for a seasoned accounting professional looking for meaningful, flexible work without evenings or weekends. This is not an entry-level role, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
- Billing, invoicing, and collections
- Financial reporting and record keeping
- Coordination with management on budget and financial matters
- Support for fundraising and development reporting as needed
- Bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online)
- Familiarity with management and billing systems
- Experience with one or more of the following: TADS, Blackbaud, Clarity, Ravinia, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and professional appearance required for client site visits
- Absolute discretion and commitment to confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fundraising and development software
- Comfort working across multiple software platforms simultaneously
